Eligibility
We also encourage the formation of teams consisting of students from different academic majors, different universities and different countries.
How It Works
Process
Idea Selection
An international judging panel will review all of the submitted applications and select the best 20 business ideas for admission into the semi-final stage of the competition
Mentoring
Once admitted into the Challenge, all teams will be assigned a mentor who will provide advice to the team with regards to the preparation and testing of their business model
Training
Training seminars and team consultation will be organized on weekends for the 20 selected teams.
All teams are encouraged to signup for the online "Lean Launchpad Course on How to Create a Startup" offered by Stanford University Professor Steve Blank via Udacity
Main Competition
There will be a Semi-Final Round and the top 10 teams will advance to the final round. In The Final Competition, teams will have 10 minutes to deliver their business model presentations, followed by 10 minutes of Q&A from the Judging Panel which will also include investors.
After Competition
Impact & Support
- Medals and prizes, will be awarded to the top 3 teams
- Other prizes and awards will also be offered by our corporate sponsors.
- Alumni Network including follow-on support, will be awarded to the top 3 teams.
